The new railway line (high speed/high capacity) is about 48 km long, starts from the municipality of Mazzano, in the province of Brescia, and reaches Verona on the wester side, with high speed tracks and the new railway interport Verona-Goods.

The line, which achieves the speed of 250 km/h, includes also

10.2 km of artificial tunnels

GEO was used to protect the bituminous membranes or the synthetic PVC membrane.
